A new program from Spectrum allows you to access your local and federal spectrum using a phone or tablet, and also lets you sign up to receive alerts about upcoming spectrum auctions.
The program lets you search for new auctions by region, using the same search criteria that Spectrum used to find new spectrum auctions, but with the option to search for all auctions, or just the region you live in.
The first auctions are expected to start in 2018.
Spectrum said in a blog post that the new program will be available to all new subscribers, regardless of whether they’re new to the program or have a Spectrum account.
The Verge reported on the new Spectrum program, which is being rolled out to existing Spectrum subscribers, last week.
The Verge also found that Spectrum was also using a different search algorithm to find spectrum auctions than it used to.
The program lets Spectrum customers search for any new spectrum auction that occurs within the same region as the one they live in, and Spectrum said that its new algorithm will also be able to find auctions in areas where the operator has previously announced auctions.
